So What's Next???

Since I cashed out at Neobux, I haven't looked back. Don't miss the site one bit.

What I'm Now Concentrating On...

1) FREELANCE WRITING: I've been writing for clients since Jan '08 (mostly blog and article writing). Used to earn good money with it but I scaled back this year as it wasn't my passion and I wanted to pursue other things. I don't wanna get back fully into freelance writing, but I wouldn't mind getting back into a writing routine of 2-3 articles every week or so. I've already started: last week, I wrote two pieces which netted me $100 and I received another $100 order today.

2) CLIXSENSE: I joined Clixsense (a paid-to-click site) back in May and was never really active on it. However, I recently reactivated my account, upgraded to premium membership ($10) and so far so good, I've made $4.70.

Clixsense suits me better as I can get direct referrals from the get-go, the upgrade-to-premium membership fee is a lot cheaper ($10) and I don't have to click on links today in order to earn from my referrals tomorrow.

The downside, though, is that Clixsense only pays via cheque. I can live with that as I've received cheque payments from outside the UK before (GlobalTestMarket.com, ACOP.com). Just takes a while to receive it, that's all. Clixsense's minimum payout ($10) is a bit higher than Neobux's and I think there's a processing fee too. However, you can set the minimum payout higher than $10 which is what I've done. I think it'll be more productive that way.

If I get insanely bored with Clixsense somewhere along the way (before reaching payout), I'll just use any earnings I've made at that point to buy advertising.

3) IM REPORT CARD: I've found this site to be incredibly informative as well as being a good money-earner. You can read about internet-marketing products, websites, people & business opportunities to find out if they're legit or a scam. Apart from internet-marketing reviews, there are also reviews about PTCs, GPTs, survey sites and hosting companies. You're also encouraged (and paid) to share any personal experiences you have of the sites/products, etc. they've reviewed. You can get paid in a number of other ways too. To read more about IM Report Card, read my write-up about it here.

4) XOMBA: I must have joined Xomba last year or earlier this year, but I never really used it. It's a bookmarking/article-writing site. Earnings are made via Adsense revenue share. I've read that if used well, it's possible to make a sizable amount of pocket change on Xomba and at times more than that. So, I'm gonna give it a proper go this month up until the end of the year.

Whatever you choose to do online, I wish you bucketloads of success with it (or at the very least a valuable lesson learnt).

I believe it's possible to earn a good living online. It's a belief I've never been able to shake off. And so a'ma keep on trying.

If you'd like to keep up to date with my online goings-on, feel free to visit my main blog: GetPaidtoFart.com.

Take care y'all and all the best...

I've Cashed Out...

I cashed out on Day 55 actually. My 3 remaining rented referrals expired on that same day and I cashed out very soon after. The idea of sticking around any longer really did not appeal to me. I'm somewhat of a human butterfly. I jump from one curiosity to the next. Once the curiosity and interest goes, I soon follow. It's part of who I am and it's served me well.

Over my 55 days with Neobux, I made a total of $6.76 ($2.915 was from my own clicks and $3.845 was from my own referrals).

My initial investment was $5.00 which I used to rent 16 referrals (and recycle).

With the $5.00 I put in and the $6.76 I made, I make that a profit of $1.76.

When I requested payment, Neobux took $0.13 for processing it, so I'm left with a profit of $1.63.

The payment landed in my Paypal account almost as soon as I requested it so that was way impressive.

What I would have done if I'd stayed with Neobux...

I would have re-invested the whole $6.76 and rinsed and repeated til I (hopefully) reached $90. At that point, I would have considered upgrading to golden membership.

I Came, I Saw, I Learned...

Nothing happens in vain. I'm sure I've picked up a couple of useful lessons along the way and I'm a slightly more enriched person for it. I didn't lose money, I made money (albeit a very small amount). I've also come across some good blogs/bloggers along the way too which is cool.

One more blog post coming up and I'm done.

Have a great weekend, people.

Tuesday 22 September 2009

Day 55: Definitely Moving On...

I'm bored. I have no doubt in my mind that if I stay with Neobux much longer, I'll murder my own shadow.

My referrals expire some time today (or early tomorrow). After that, I'm cashing out. I was gonna wait til I reached $7.00, but nah-ah.

In the coming days, I'll write another blog post to wrap it all up.

Thursday 17 September 2009

Day 50: Update...

I'm rarely getting any clicks from my remaining 3 rented referrals now. Made 3 cents from them in the past 5 days or so (it's cool. I'm on my way out anyway). Most of my daily earnings have therefore been from my own clicks for which I'm making an average of 5 cents a day.

That's about it, really. My rentals expire in about 5 days and I think I'm gonna wrap it up after that (Sept end at the very latest) as I'm well and truly bored with Neobux. The boredom far outweighs the dough.

Friday 11 September 2009

Day 44: Saying Bye to 13 Refs Today...

13 of my rentals expire later on today, so I'll be left with 3 referrals. I don't plan on renewing any once they expire.

My referrals aren't clicking as much anymore. Most have a click average of under 2.0. I get round about the same daily amount I got when I only had 3 referrals. Referrals are human. I can imagine they have other things to do besides clicking away. In any case, no recycling has been or will be applied. Just gonna let them run out.

I'm getting pretty close to my boredom threshold with Neobux; about to climb over.

Monday 7 September 2009

Day 40: Have I Given Neobux a Real Chance?

...and do I care if I haven't?

If I move on, will I be moving away from a potential opportunity?

If I stay, will the monotony drive me up the wall?

Hmm.

Questions. Questions.

Anyhoo, in other news, my referrals must have stayed in on Saturday (Day 38) 'cos I made 21.5 cents that day (incl my clicks). Sunday was particularly low at 9 cents. And today, it's only 5.5 cents so far.

Ah well.

We'll see what the rest of the week has in store.

See ya!

Day 36: Aah, So That's What Profit Sounds Like...

I broke even on Day 34 which was cool. I don't need to do anything else except watch the pennies add up.

Total made so far is $5.305 which means I've made back my $5 investment plus 30.5 cents. I'm still getting at least 4 cents a day from viewing my own ads, so I should make at least another $0.72 over the next 18 days for that. That's not including my referral clicks.

It's looking likely that I will move on once my last rental expires (in 18 days) as I have my eye on two sites I wanna give a go. I might extend my stay 'til round the end of September, but that's it. If so, my last day will be on a Thursday or the 27th or 28th as Thurday's my favourite day and I have a thing about the number 7. (yes, I do have my fair share of oddities!)

Monday 31 August 2009

Day 33: 11 Cents Away From Breaking Even!

I'm at $4.89 at the mo' and the day's not over yet so I might be able to squeeeeze a couple more cents out of today. I should breakeven some time tomorrow.

I guess I kinda have Neobux to thank for the money I earned on IM Report Card today. IM Report Card recently reviewed Neobux. I then left a comment about my experience of using N'bux (I'm 'MissEb' on there). My comment got approved and I got a cool painless $0.50 for it! Wouldn't have earned it if I hadn't used Neobux before. It's just as well I made the comment when I did 'cos the comments got closed off soon after.

In Other News:

- I can now get direct referrals on Neobux as my first 30 days are up

- I've earmarked a couple other sites I wanna try for a month. Just gotta decide which one to jump on first.

Friday 28 August 2009

Day 30: I'm Staying...For Now...

Neobux has been my very own little hobby - my little curiosity. I obviously know a lot more now than I knew on Day 1. But one thing's for sure, I was never gonna be in it for the long-run. Nope. Not me.

When I first joined Neobux, my intention was to test it out for 30 days then run. However, 2 weeks into joining the program, I started thinking about whether to stay longer than I initially planned.

It's Day 30, and I haven't quite decided yet.

My last rented referral expires in about 3 weeks. I'll make up my mind then.

I finished Day 30 at 21.5 cents, so all in all I've made $4.325 since I joined Neobux on 30th July (my clicks: $1.61; referral clicks: $2.715). With the $5 I invested, that's a loss of 67.5 cents, but I suspect in about 5 days or so from now, I'll breakeven and move into pure profit. How much profit I'll make, I don't know, but I don't plan on doing any recycling or renting over the next 3 weeks. I'll leave my referrals to their own devices.

(p.s.: I'll be updating this blog every 2-3 days)

Thursday 27 August 2009

Day 29: I've Hit the $4 Mark...

$4.11, in fact.

I'll probably end Day 30 at around $4.30 or so.

I used my remaining rental balance to recycle a few more referrals and that's it; I have 3 cents left in there.

Roll on, Day 30. :-)

Wednesday 26 August 2009

Day 28: What Happens If I Miss a Day on Neobux?

I sometimes get a warning that I haven't "viewed any advertisements today" and that if I don't, I won't earn from my referrals the following day.

So I'm thinking, in order to earn from Neobux everyday, I have to log in everyday, I have to view ads everyday, no?

If that's indeed the case, then I find that idea stifling. Doesn't appeal. I'm not a pro referrer but I do have one or two programs where it's not necessary for me to do that; I earn my referral cut regardless (as long as my refs are active). I log in when I want and when I can, not because I have to.

It could be argued that since I'm updating this blog everyday, then Neobux'ing everyday shouldn't be a tasking problem. However, there's a difference. First, updating this blog everyday was a choice, not an obligation. Second, it was only ever gonna be updated everyday over a short period of time (30 days). It's been a challenge updating daily (though I'm proud of myself for doing so) - like most people, I do have other things on my plate.

So, yeah, the idea (if true) of having to log into Neobux everyday in order to earn off refs is an additional put-off. I wouldn't be happy to sustain that everyday'ism for more than a couple of months (even if I was making profit). I can't imagine being on holiday running around like a headless chicken trying to find a blooming internet cafe so I can view my Neobux ads for the day. Or say I got married to that Afro Haired Love God that used to be in Crime Scene Investigation; the only way I'd view any Neobux ads is if a wireless laptop levitated out of his ass.

Anyhoo...in other news, I made 23 cents today.

Tuesday 25 August 2009

Day 27: Not a Bad Day. Not a Bad Day At All...

day 27

29.5 cents today! Couple of cents off from my highest day (32.5 cents).

The 3 extra referrals I bought on Day 23, coupled with the few recycles I did, seem to have done something. Or maybe not. Maybe it's down to luck; a combination of variables I can't control.

Monday 24 August 2009

Day 26: Now, That's Better...

Yesterday, I made 19.5 cents which was quite some fall from my 32.5 cent day a couple days ago. However, today's looking a bit better at 24 cents.

I don't think I'll breakeven on my $5 investment by Day 30 but I think it's gonna be over $4. I'm at $3.34 now. If I can make 20 cents a day til Day 30 (I'm being prudent here), then that should push my total over $4. If I then decide to stay past 30 days (which is looking likely), then with the rental time I have left with my referrals and my own clicks, I should be able to breakeven and hopefully begin to make some profit.

Sunday 23 August 2009

Day 25: Maybe It's 'Cos It's a Sunday, Huh?

day 25
Compared with my 32.5 cent day yesterday, I've made a lot less than that today (19.5 cents).

It's better than nothing, but I'm thinking it's either because it's Sunday and people are generally chilling, or maybe yesterday's earnings were just a one-off. Who knows?

Anyway... tomorrow? another day? you betcha! :-)

Saturday 22 August 2009

Day 24: More Referrals, More Recycling...

I decided to use up the money in my rental balance 'cos if I definitely decide not to continue with Neobux after 30 days, the rental-balance money will be stuck in there as it's not allowed to be cashed out. I had $1.43 left in my rental balance, sooooo I went ahead and bought 3 more referrals and recycled 2 dormant ones.

I have $0.43 left now which I'll use to recycle a few more dormant refs over the next couple of days.

So far, I've made 24 cents today. (Update: ended the day with 32.5 cents!)

Friday 21 August 2009

Day 23: I'm Doing Good Today ...So Far

It's only about 1pm over here (London) and I've already done better (15.5 cents) than I did yesterday.

Yesterdaaaaay, all my troubles seemed so far awaaaaaay... (not that there was really any trouble, but that's the song that popped into my head, so I'm gonna sing it, godammit!)

Yay, referrals! Yay, me! ....and, erm, yay, Neobux ;-)

Suddenlyyyy, I'm not half the Neobux babe I used to beeeee...

(erm, in case you're wondering, Yesterday is a Beatles song).

(UPDATE: I ended the day with 18.5 cents)

Thursday 20 August 2009

Day 22: Might Be Time For Some More Recycling, Methinks...

recycle
I don't recycle my referrals that often; however, it's not something I tend to shy away from should it need doing.

I have 2 referrals that haven't been active since the 17th. One has a lower than 2.0 click average; the other's just above 2.0. If there's no further activity over the weekend, I plan on recycling those two.

Made 13.5 cents today. Lowest since I upped my referral count from 3 to 13. Could have been worse though.

Wednesday 19 August 2009

Day 21: Should I Stay or Should I Go?

I never really had the intention of staying with Neobux for more than 30 days. However, I've been toying with the idea of sticking around a bit longer. Several reasons:

- my rented referrals expire after the 30 days are up

- I have about $1.40 left in my rental balance

- It wasn't until I joined that I found out I couldn't get direct referrals 'til after 30 days of being a Neobux member. I feel that rule put me at somewhat of a disadvantage. Part of me is, therefore, curious to see how I can potentially do when the rule's lifted.

So, yeah, will think about it.

Tuesday 18 August 2009

Day 20: $2 Payout Reached!

$2.085, in fact.

Yay!

Ok, it's not really a profit actually as I invested $5 --- but it's still nice to get $2.085 of my investment back!

I've decided not to cash out yet. I'm gonna leave it 'til the end of the 30 days as the next payout threshold is $3 (I think) and I wouldn't be able to make an additional $3 in the next 10 days.

Monday 17 August 2009

Day 19: A Day Away From Reaching Payout!

I'm at $1.92 at the mo'. It's more than likely that I'll hit the $2 payout tomorrow!

My referrals aren't clicking as much as they were some days ago, so I've started recycling the odd one or two that have been dormant for 4-5 days to see if that'll make a difference.

I've also been dropping by the forums a bit more for tips and to just see how other people are fairing.

Anyway, onto tomorrow! I might break open a bottle of milk to celebrate!

Sunday 16 August 2009

Day 18: Just Like Day 17...

Believe it or not, I made the same amount of money today that I made yesterday - I viewed the same amount of ads and received the same amount of referral clicks.

Twilight Zone indeed.

If the same thing happens tomorrow, I think I'll freak out a bit.

In Other News: I recycled one of my referrals. Had been 5 days since they clicked.

Saturday 15 August 2009

Day 17: What Will I Do When I Reach the $2 Payout.?

Well, I'm inching ever closer to the $2 minimum payout. At the rate things are going, I should get there within the next 3-5 days.

I've been thinking about what to do when I do reach cashout. I'm trying out Neobux for 30 days. If I was planning to stay longer, I'd plough the $2 back into the site. However, as it stands, I have two options:

- cash out when I do reach cash out, or

- wait 'til the 30 days are up, then cash out (or plough it back in if I decide to stay longer)

I'm swaying more towards the 2nd option.

In other news, I've made 18 cents today. I wonder if I'll beat the 22.5 cent day I had on Day 15? Hmmm.

Friday 14 August 2009

Day 16: Not Bad, Not Bad...

day 16
Not as good as yesterday, but not bad either at 15 cents.

I have a few referrals that haven't clicked today, but that's ok - I'll keep an eye on them over the weekend and see how they do.

Oh, and I have another 'you haven't viewed your ads' warning, but no ads to view. Go figure.

Anyhoo, it's the weekend. Have a good one :-)

Thursday 13 August 2009

Day 15: My Armpits Must Smell Good...

...'cos my rented referrals flocked around me like I was some kind of celebrity and worked their tiny little butts off for me.

How cute (she says in a slightly squeeky choked-up voice as her eyes well up. She doesn't quite cry 'cos in Hollywood, to almost cry is more effective than all-out snot-driven crying. Plus, it would ruin her make-up and her white dress ...and the white (red) carpet ...and the white toilet roll ...and the white clouds ...oh, and the snow).

Round of applause for my referrals who made me 16.5 cents! With my own clicks, the day totals up at 22.5 cents - the most I've made in one day on Neobux so far. (choked-up squeaky voice returns)

And now for my acceptance speech... ahem...

Wednesday 12 August 2009

Day 14: What a Difference a Day Makes...

...twenty-four little hourrrrrrs (you won't get it if you ain't heard the song, so please don't mind me!)

Right, Day 14 and things are looking up! My referrals made me 15 cents! It's not too too too much of a surprise when you have 13 referrals, but I'm pleased nonetheless as it could have gone the other way.

I recall reading that any rented referral with a click average under 2.0 should be recycled if it doesn't pick up after a few days. Out of my 13, I have one under 2.0, so I'm gonna keep an eye on that one.

Tuesday 11 August 2009

Day 13: Hmm, I Wonder If I'm a Rented Referral?

Rented referrals, I suppose, are made up of people who joined Neobux without going through a referral link. I joined Neobux directly - never went through a ref link, so I'm wondering if some Neobux member out there ...is using me ...as a rented referral (cue Twilight Zone music).

Nothing much has happened on N'bux for me today. Couple of ref clicks. Definitely doesn't inspire an acceptance speech.

Tomorrow - as always - is another day (unless global warming gets pre-menstrual).

Monday 10 August 2009

Day 12: My Family of 13...

So I went ahead and bought my 10 referrals today - was pretty straightforward - took all of 30 seconds. I have 13 referrals now.

I have another one of those bloody "you haven't clicked at server time" warnings again, so I knew I wouldn't be making any money from my referrals today (if you don't view your own ads, you don't earn from your referrals if/when they become active).

I also got to view another one of those rare $0.015 ads today.

Having more referrals adds a pepper of excitement to things. It's something different from the past 11 days, so I'm looking forward to it.

Sunday 9 August 2009

Day 11: Neobuxy Things I Did Today..

neobux
1) I'm yet to match or surpass the 10.5 cents I made on Day 6, but I haven't done too badly today with an 8.5 cents day ($0.05 my clicks - $0.035 ref clicks).

2) I downloaded a really useful ebook about Neobux. Can't remember which blog I downloaded it from but once I do, I'll put the link up here for anyone who might find it useful. (Found it!. The link to the ebook is in the following post: Neobux Review: Strategies, Tips & Tricks.)

3) I recycled one of my rented referrals - hasn't been active since Aug 4th.

Tomorrow, I rent more referrals - MORE, MORE, MOOOOOORE, MWAH-HA-HAAAAAAAAAAAAA.

Saturday 8 August 2009

Day 10: I Definitely Can't Earn Thru Direct Referrals...

neobux - no direct referrals
I've been reading through myLot and I've found out that I definitely can't get direct referrals in the first 30 days of joining Neobux.

It's a bit of a bummer, really. The only conclusion I can come to is that Neobux made the decision for financial reasons. If you knew you couldn't earn from direct referrals, what would you do? You'd either wait it out for 30 days or use your own money to rent referrals. It's a clever tactic on Neobux's part but one which is a tad restrictive.

I have less of a problem with the reason why Neobux have chosen to implement the direct-referral rule. It is their site, afterall. However, what I do have a bit of a gripe with is I think the rule is a really important aspect of (using) the site that should've been highlighted so people could make an informed decision before joining.

If I'd known about the dir-ref rule, I would have given it more thought before I joined.

I also read quite a few reviews about Neobux and I don't recall reading about the rule either. Apart from genuine forgetfulness on the reviewer's part (bless 'em), I'm supposing their motivation for not mentioning that crucial bit of info is it increases the chances of someone joining through them. Naughty, naughty. (I'm presuming most of them have also surpassed the 30-day rule.)

I guess the rule is somewhere in Neobux's 'small print' - which makes it 'OK'.

Friday 7 August 2009

Day 9: The Elusive 'Server Time'...

neobux server time
I viewed a $0.015 ad. First time I've done that on Neobux. It was also in a different category - Computers & Internet - rather than the usual Business & Money. Was a welcome change.

I keep on getting these warnings that I 'haven't clicked on server time'. I think I've figured out why. I'm in the UK so I'm working on Greenwich Mean Time (GMT). Server time is probably totally different - when it occurs, it's probably very early in the morning in the UK when I'm fast asleep. I'm a nightowl but it's not worth staying up all hours of the night for the all-important 'server time'. Na-ah. If I see an ad while I'm online, great. If I miss some, then cest la vie.

Thursday 6 August 2009

Day 8: Referrals picking up...

neobux clicks
Hey. How's it hanging? Good? Yes? No?

Who, me? Thanks for asking (blush, blush - flickering my eyelashes). Well, my referrals picked up a bit, making me $0.025. It's less than what they made me on Day 6 but...it's better than nothing. Let's see what tomorrow brings. Apart from that, not much else to report apart from the fact that...I looooove yoooou...

Ok, on a serious note, I'll be able to buy a new pack of referrals this Monday which is what I plan on doing. I'll still buy a pack of 10 ($2.50).

Sooo, with a combination of my own clicks and my ref clicks, I made $0.075 today.

Wednesday 5 August 2009

Day 7: As a Neobux Newbie, I'm Not Allowed Direct Referrals for the First 30 Days...or So I Think...

...well, if I am to understand it (see below), then that's exactly what I think Neobux means.

direct refs
Or have I completely got the wrong end of the stick???

Anyway, if the no-direct-ref rule is indeed true, I don't understand why - seems rather odd to me.

...but hey, it's their site, so there.

It means that there's really less point in me promoting my blog in hopes of getting direct referrals. Don't get me wrong, I'll continue to promote the blog regardless because traffic is definitely not a bad thing for a blog (particularly a new one), but it means that I won't be able to earn from it should someone decide to join through my referral link.

Ah well.

In view of the fact that I'm trying Neobux out for 30 days, it seems renting referrals really was the way to go.

Maybe what Neobux could have done was keep a record of any referrals a newbie might have gained over the course of the first month and then assign those referrals to the newbie after the month's up.

Anyhoo...in other news:

I didn't earn from any rented referral clicks today. I learnt that in order to gain from ref clicks, you have to do some clicking of your own (which I've been doing anyway). Yesterday, I noticed Neobux had this red sign informing me that I need to click my own ads in order to gain from my referrals. However, the odd thing was there were no ads available for me to click on. I was, like, well thanks for the prompting, but where are the frikkin ads?

So, yeah, no referral earnings for me today.

Again, ah well. Tomorrow's another day. What other day would it be apart from, erm, another day.

Day 6: Houston, My 3 Rented Referrals Are Clickety Clicking!

active referrals

...well, erm, at least for today, anyway. Who knows what'll happen tomorrow, ey? Maybe I'll get a repeat performance or no clicks at all. We'll see.

But for today, yeah, I've had a total of 11 ref clicks, earning me an extra 6 cents on top of my daily clicks. It works out at about $0.005 per ref click. I have these 3 refs for the rest of the month so we'll see how it goes. I think I might write them poetry anonymously to keep them going - or maybe send Karma their way in the form a parking attendant who simply smiles at them, gives them a hug and doesn't issue them with a ticket.

Ahem... in any case, I have the option of swapping any of my refs with a different referral if the clicks become non-existent due to the shock of a hippie hug from said parking attendant.

At this rate, if I'm getting an extra 6 cents a day thru active referrals, then I'll hopefully break even on my $0.75 investment in 12-13 days' time, and then start to see some kind of profit.

Watch this space.

Day 5: Referrals Update...

I've decided to buy a referral pack of 3 (for $0.75; $0.25 per referral per mth) just to see how it goes. My next buy will most likely be a pack of 10.

In terms of buying the referrals, there's a small catch though. The minimum amount I can Paypal across is $5. I was gonna transfer a bit less than that, but that's OK as it'll cover my next buy plus a portion of any renewals I might decide to make in the future.

So wish me luck! Am about ta go iiiiiiiiiiin.

Day 4: Renting Referrals...

neobux referralsI've decided that I'm gonna rent referrals off Neobux. Now there's no guarantee as to how active the referrals will be. However, I do have the option to recycle (swap the inactive referrals for new ones) if some aren't clickety clicking. There's an extra charge for recycling ($0.08 per swap, I think).

I'm allowed to buy referrals in packs of 3, 10, 20, 30, 50, 70, 100 and I can only buy one pack every 7 days. There's a discount for my first 2 rentals (about 16.5% off per pack) which is good to know.

Now I have to decide what pack to buy. I've read that, for newbies, it's best to start with a pack of 3 - but I've also read somewhere that a pack of 10 is advisable. I'll make my decision tomorrow, but I don't plan on going any higher than 10 per pack for my initial 2 rentals.

Day 2: I'm Kinda Getting Bored Already...

neobux
There were 4 ads for me to view today. 1 cent per ad. They were the same ads as yesterday though, just that they'd been refreshed and had cents attached. I don't quite see the point of showing the same four, but hey, if I'm getting paid for it...

I ain't gonna lie - my boredom threshold seems to be breaking out in a slight rash - my mind's yawning already and it's only Day 2. I didn't visit Neobux's forum yesterday like I planned to, so I'm definitely gonna be doing that today as it'll probably help jazz things up a bit.

(UPDATE: I've clocked up 2 extra cents in addition to the 4 ads.)

Day 1: I've Joined Neobux and Earned 4 Cents...

neobux
Right, I've just joined Neobux. I initially had a lil problem with registration - when I pressed Submit, it seemed to take centuries to go through, then it came up with a proxy error (whatever the hell that means).

I wasn't sure anything had actually gone through 'til I checked my inbox - there was an email from Neobux giving me a unique code. I had to re-register 'cos I'd already closed the window that was sticking up a middle-fingered proxy error at me. Took less than a minute to fill in the registration form as it ain't that long at all. I then pasted in the unique code I was sent in the email and voila!, thine is nowst a Neobux babe.

Once I logged on, I went straight to the 'View Advertisements' page. There were 4 ads waiting for me to view (worth 1 cent each). Each one took about a minute to load, view and be credited. So, yeah, I made 4 cents in about 4 mins. Not much, but more importantly it was pretty painless. I sure as hell wouldn't have wanted to spend an unreasonable amount of time and energy for a measly 4 cents.

Neobux has forum so I'm gonna go take a look around and see what I can pick up.

(UPDATE: I've just viewed another 1-cent ad.)
